Finally, a day to relax after a hectic few days…I forget how exhausting December is, so full on.
It’s been fun though, Friday I went Christmas shopping with my Dad [something I always dread, then always love…he’s such a Christmas fan!]
We got presents for Mum; it’s her birthday three days before Christmas, too, and he decided to go wild and spoil me with some fantastic tights from M&S and a new pair of flat black boots, due to my studded ones already breaking after only two months.
I also had an orthodontist appointment, after being re-referred, and as of Jan 19th I’ll be getting my FIFTH set of braces, ugh. Last ditch attempt at fixing my damn horrible teeth.
For shopping I wore a double denim ensemble, due to being lazy, more than anything else, and my new best friend; super soft snood courtesy of my Mum being fed up of me complaining of the cold 😉
(Ugh, I sound spoilt!)
Yesterday I worked in the morning, and this was definatley the start of Christmas food shopping madness,
it always amazes me by how much people buy just for one day! Haha…oh but so many gorgeous treats about.
This week Mum is off for 5 days (hurrah!) and we’re going to go on a card writing, present wrapping, parcel packing spree,
and have a girly day of shopping!

Hope you manage to get that dress, it’s gorgeous! I’ve only bought one present and that was easy as it was from work. Hopefully I can tackle more this week. I’ve also got dental issues, had one extra tooth taken out on friday and getting the other one out in a few weeks- eeeeek! Hope your teeth get sorted eventually.

The denim-on-denim may be what you call lazy but you look great! And for me–a real lazy dresser–putting on more than two pieces of clothing is already a lot of work! Then again, I live in a hot country. It’s all tank tops and shorts here!

And aw, sorry to hear about having to get braces again. 🙁 I’ve never had them (my orthodontist wanted me too, but I refused, being the rebel that I am haha) and so my teeth are a bit crooked, but I like to tell myself it adds character. (Plus, some people think I’ve already think I’ve had braces, so I guess that can’t be THAT bad…I think the orthodontist just wanted my money! :P)

5 times!? How long did you have it on each time? I had braces for a good 2 years in elementary. I fell off my retainer wearing for a while and they don’t fit anymore =/ I have a love/hate relationship with my teeth too. meh.
