Vote adaisychaindream; you know you want to!

Blogging/commenting will likely be very sporadic until Friday. Madness ensues NOW.

Playtime

Neither outfit featured in this post was actually worn today,
it was more of a case of “would I wear it?”
(please tell me I’m not the only one who uses photos to help them decide!)

The first one was actually kind of a no-brainer
I always equate t-shirts with jeans, especially casual t-shirts. Looking at this photo however I can see it works very well with a smarter cut of trousers

Except to see this as a proper outfit soon. I can’t get enough of this tee!

This second outfit has been a long time coming. Ages ago I was sent this skirt from Damart; a shop I’d never have even considered buying from before due to my association between it and the older generation.
However, they still sent the skirt and told me to see what I could come up with. Months (oops) later and I finally feel like I could wear it.

Spinning qualities make it a winner. Always.

And I guess that proves that old saying right…you really cannot judge a book by it’s cover.

Happy Tuesday (that feels like a Monday). I’m planning to take it easy today as the next two days at work are going to be MAD. Who launches a new system right before another bank holiday?! Apparently we do!

Have you voted yet?

P.S. I’ve had a few comments/tweets about my blog coming up as a phishing site?! It seems to be an issue for those using google chrome as their browser,
if any one has any suggestions do share…I’m lost!

I need to ban myself from looking on Asos. For real.

Live for the (long weekend)

The best thing about the impending Royal Nuptials? The two day work week! Wahey…Tuesdays are my day off, so I only have to be in Wednesday and Thursday. Unfortunately we have a new system launch on Thursday, which is also my birthday and we’re going to be working flat out to provide our usual standard of service, so there won’t be much celebrating going on (8am start, 6/7pm finish, no thanks!)…however, the next day being “that” day means I have have belated celebrations with the people that matter most; and maybe crash a few street parties!

Anyhow, I’m getting ahead of myself. First we need to finish this long weekend, and it will be done in chilled out lazy style.
Yesterday I barely moved off my ass, which was hugely satisfying. Today I predict more of the same, perhaps interjected with a trip to Tesco for essentials; girl cannot live on Easter goods alone (as much as she’d like to try)

Easter Haul!

Sadly that bag did not hold the Prestat egg of my dreams, but it did contain sweets and eggs of the miniature variety!

For the first time in years I was willing and able to take part in some Easter eating

And cover my blisters in truly epic plasters

I’ll be 24 going on 4.

Today I’ve ditched the floral dresses for my “jazzy trousers”

There was some interest at the mention of Bristol Balloon Fiesta on yesterday’s post. For those who dont then here’s some blurb from the website

The Fiesta is a world-class hot air ballooning festival and one of the UK’s top five outdoor events.

Held in the rolling hills of Ashton Court on the edge of Bristol, it is a hugely popular free event. Around half a million people from across the country and beyond flock to Bristol for the Fiesta over four days each August.

Founded in 1979, it has become an icon for Bristol, as synonymous with the city as Brunel’s Suspension Bridge.

Estimated to boost the local economy to the tune of £10 million each year, it is run by a not-for-profit organisation.

I missed last years but have been a couple of times in the past and it has never disssapointed. This year the fiesta runs from 11-14th August and I hope to go along for at least one of the night glows!

(Anyone else planning to be there, maybe we could meet up?)

Early morning launch, when I was a child the balloons used a playing field 2 seconds from my house to land in. Waking up hearing a balloon roaring over your house and racing down the road in your night clothes are a memory that I will always cherish.

Night Glow! It’s far more…impressive in person!
