Today’s outfit was hastily thrown on after a fit of
“nothing looks right, or feels right or blaaaaaaah” and a mini tantrum.
Don’t you just love those days? Where nothing fits the bill and you find your self wishing you could just burn everything and start afresh?
The skirt and boots are from New Look and the top is from Uniqlo.
What do you do, or wear on days like these?

I love your skirt. I’m having lots of those days at the moment, i only have a few bits that actually fit nicely now and i keep looking wistfully at all my other unworn clothes hanging in my wardrobe! I’m off to check out the Matalan blog now xx
Oh I’ve been going thru it majorly lately: the more I spend time with Jen, Kit, Shini… I don’t remember being style self conscious in the past, but these days I feel old, fat (not so much fat as not fit, if that makes sense), and feel I’m getting it terribly wrong all the time.
That said, right now I”m wearing a favourite very old pale pink tee shirt with paler faint stripes – boat neck, 3/4 length sleeves… I always feel great in it, kind of Parisianne. I rarely wear it out, tho.
Just checked out Emma’s blog, and Matalan. Good luck to her, let’s support her. And thank you: YOU’RE one of the most generous people I know, too, and a little thing like giving a shout out for Emma is a perfect example.
LOVE what you ended up choosing to wear, btw. Great tie dye New Look skirt. And Uniqlo is fast becoming one of my favourite brands. When I don’t know what to wear I wear my new +J camel jacket and all is right with the world. ; ) xx

I have those days, sometimes just nothing ever quite feels right. In this case I usually end up wearing a ridiculously old t-shirt and jeans, very boring to say the least.

I hate those days. I really do. I end up wearing whatever I grab first or feel comes the closest to a decent outfit.

This morning I had one of those days where you put on some ugly sweater because it’s early and cold, and then it turns out not to be that cold all day and you’re stuck with it, overheated and grumpy! Overall I’d say your look is way better!
