So, like I mentioned yesterday, I re-did my red hair! It feels so good to be back to vibrant colour and I love the positive attention it attracts. I remain faithful to Life Salon Style; Intense Red which I buy in bulk when on offer- the upside of this new, shorter hair is I once again only need one box. I really like this length for my hair, someone remind me to keep it up?! I’m hopeless at booking in for maintenance.
Wearing floral dress c/o Matalan which won me the very first Style Project well over a year ago now! The tights are from New Look and were a “well done” gift from work, and the boots are c/o Ellos. I’m not sure why I’m wearing boots all of a sudden, I should be making the most of the nice weather and the last chance to wear sandals until next year!
Well, we’re half way through the working week; congratulations on making it so far! How’s it going for you?
With the arrival of September comes a craving for rich berry colours, mixed with deep greens and muddy browns. We may yet get a burst of Summer but I’m not holding out hope and today I have conjured up a wishlist of what I would love to help me survive September!
1. Dark Green skinny jeans, £16.99 from New Look. I’m really starting to embrace jeans and trousers more and these are the perfect Autumn colour (I think)
2. Bunny Print sweater top £12 from George at Asda. I already own the jersey owl jumper and this is next on my list. I love the quirky print, relaxed fit and supersoft material (lovingly stroked in store yesterday). These jumpers are such bargains.
3. Barbour from ASOS. LOVE the Liberty lining in this, do not love the price tag of over £200! I am trying hard to save up for a Barbour though. I love them and know that once afforded, it will be a sound investment. I shall probably hit up the outlet at Clark’s village for mine though, they have some relative bargains there.
4. Velvet Chelsea Boots from Matalan, currently only £10 online! I’m on a shoe ban, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want these! I was caught stroking them in store yesterday. Oh so soft and I LOVE the colour.
What’s on your September wishlist? Still holding out for Summer?
After months of putting it off, I finally went and booked a haircut…a much needed one and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect after a truly horrible morning at work.
I didn’t have any particular style in mind, just something easy to maintain and that’s what I got! My head feels a heck of a lot lighter minus about 10 inches of hair and half of it’s bulk (the curse of not just thick, but plentiful hair!)
Now the challenge is the upkeep, this is where I usually fail! Feel free to share miracle products and styling tips with me! I’m going back to vibrant red at the weekend.
And don’t forget, there are still a few hours left to win £20 with Matalan, the giveaway closes at 7pm. Chop chop!
To celebrate the launch of their A/W collection (which I raved about just a few days ago) Matalan are offering one reading of adaisychaindream a £20 gift voucher to spend on anything they like!
