Firstly, apologies for yet another scheduled post. Someone got a little “yes” happy when overtime shifts were being offered up and is now regretting her decision just a little. I’m a little bit stressed, a lot bit tired, and generally this is a harder than anticipated time of year for me.
Anyway, on to the main post. CONVERSE. I believe this is my second converse dedicated post but after taking the plunge and buying my first pair in years I suddenly need more. More more more. Oh pay day, won’t you hurry up?!

I love wearing Converse or Keds sneakers like those if they have the flat bottomed sole (no treads to pick up dirt or sand). I developed a preference for them after finding they were easier on clay tennis courts, had better grip on sailboat’s decks, and left less imprints in hot asphalt roof shingles when roofing. The full length laces make for an adjustable comfy fit. I have to search around to find a reasonably priced pair. Those look nice. I prefer low white ones but the All Star Vagabond Gingham Ox looks closest. I’ll bet it’s comfortable especially after breaking them in a little.

Just plain, though now very dirty, white low tops are a wardrobe staple for me and always have been. I’ve tried to branch out in the past, but it’s never really worked for me and I always end up leaving them in the wardrobe in favour of my old, trusty white ones. I have been lusting after some yellow high tops though! X

YAY converse!! I have a pair of brown hi-tops that are completely ruined, but i can’t bear to throw them out.
I can’t really imagine buying them again though….too many memories of my fifteen year old self [NOT something I want to be reminded of :P] buuut I am rathurr lovling the leather. YUMYUMGETONMYFEET.

I love the Slim Music Cuir Ox, they would go with so many outfits and they look really comfy too.
I love converse. Both my husband and I wore them on our wedding day on Saturday and they looked amazing. I chose the classic navy blue pair, but the low tops style. I must admit they are the best pair I’ve ever bought as they go with everything. I’ve had a pair of black hi tops for about 6 years now and they still look great.
It’s the best thing about converse, the worse for wear they look the ‘better’ they look. haha.
