Gifts under £50 at Ernest Jones

This is probably one of the last gift guides I’ll write for 2013 as Christmas has become scarily close…how is it only a week away? Seriously?!
Anyway, better late than never with this post and if you happen to have an Ernest Jones store near you (lucky me, I do!) you can still pick up some of these beautiful gifts for someone special.
Gifts for Her:

How cute are these Ted Baker rocking horse earrings? They’d be perfect for the girly girl in your life and cost a not too eye watering £29.

This rose gold bracelet by Folli Follie is just beautiful, it comes in at the top end of the budget at £50 but I know quite a few people in my life who would adore this….my Mum for one, I wish I had seen it a bit sooner!

It’s back to Ted Baker for pick number three, he designs some seriously good jewellery (along with seriously good everything else!) Apart from wanting this for myself it’d be perfect to tell your best friend how much she sparkles and is reduced to £29 (half price!)

Gifts for Him:

Ok, the gifts for him post was much harder to write than gifts for her as I’ve never really bought jewellery as a bloke gift before. I can imagine Ben wearing this Fossil bracelet though and at £45 it’s a pretty sound investment.

Cufflinks sometimes feel like a bit of a cop out, although if you know a man like my Dad there is no such thing as too many cufflinks. I really like these by Gaventa, they cost £30 and remind me a lot of lego. Grown up lego = winner for Dad’s.

I’m not sure where I stand on necklaces for men but this one did catch my eye several times during my browsing of the website. It’s by Simon Carter, costs £35 and is an exclusive product to Ernest Jones. I can’t see the men in my life wearing it but I’m sure some of you will be able to find a recipient!

So that’s my final and somewhat brief gift guide done and dusted.
I love giving jewellery as gifts (my friends will attest to that) as it’s something that lasts a long, long time. What are your thoughts on it and what do you think of my picks?
