How amazing is this recent weather for putting a smile on your face? Finally quite hopeful that winter will soon leave us (please, no random cold snaps now)
This was an outfit made entirely out of comfort clothes. This skirt has been neglected lately, I naively assumed it wouldn’t fit any more only to find it has a very forgiving waist band! The top has also been neglected but that is my own fault for keeping such a messy clothes storage system; things get lost!
I wasn’t sure about this jacket when it first arrived but I’ve worn it non-stop over the weekend and it has grown on me a lot, hello new spring staple!
This weekend was wonderfully low key with not much going on bar a spot of shopping on Saturday (when I wore this) and a coffee and scratch card session with Ellie today. I also walked round to see my Grandad, a walk I haven’t been able to do for almost six months due to my stupid foot. Said stupid foot still isn’t right. I’m awaiting an appointment with the ortho consultant, but don’t hold out much hope in getting one any time soon! I just want to get an MRI arranged, find out if anything is going on and then move on.
Well, off for a new week at work. I’m pretty sure it should be a better one, it can’t get much worse than Friday’s epic chaos.
Happy Monday everyone, what did you get up to this weekend? I’m quite glad I’m not at LFW, it looks exhausting…to be honest I’ve not paid it much attention, I think I much prefer high street fashion.

Your outfit looks very comfortable indeed. Is that a reindeer amongst snow covered evergreens on your Asda top? It’s quite pretty. Sorry to hear your foot isn’t up to par yet – I hope whatever news you eventually get is good and that it heals completely soon. Its nice that you managed to see your granddad. The coffee and scratch session sounds like fun.
It’s 24 degrees Fahrenheit (well below 0 degrees celsius) with a stiff wind where I am right now (NorthEast U.S.). I’m anxious for Spring for sure. It’s about a month away but hte groundhog Punxutawney Phil sai it would come early. I sure hope that’s true.
As far as London Fashion Week the best photos I’ve seen were ones that bloggers took of each other.
I’ve just been reading other peoples blogs and browsing on YouTube and doing a bit of laundry and cooking. Nothing very exciting here.
Happy Monday. High Street Fashion it is, and more perusing of the fashionista blogosphere.
Morning! Loving that outfit on you : ) x
Good luck with your foot sweetie – I am sending positive vibes your way and hope you get a resolution soon 🙂
Love this outfit, your skirt is gorgeous. Effortless chic!

I am adoring those boots and your floaty skirt so much x
Definitely get an MRI done on that foot – I’ve had to convince doctors for the past year that my ankle isn’t just ‘soft tissue strain’ and after being unable to walk for almost two months, I had an MRI on Friday. Feet are bitches xx
o beautiful! cant wait to start wearing maxi skirts again.

You look gorgeous! I love the shoes & the jacket!
Hope your foot is better soon, it sounds awful.
Jesss xo
I really want an awesome maxi skirt like this! LFW tends to go over my head a bit too, I think we need a lesson in it. Maybe when we’re famous someone will pay for us to go and teach us everything there is to know. Bahahaha!

I am loving that skirt lady!
I definitely prefer high street/vintage fashion, looking at clothes I’ll never be able to afford just doesn’t appeal to me! Love this outfit, I really want a jacket like that. xx
wow I love those shoes!! x
I always get such shoe envy when I read your posts! Gorgeous xx
