Dress: Pop Boutique at ASOS | Boots: New Look | Bag: c/o Flights of Nancy
Apart from looking like I’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards and therefore feeling a little less than satisfied with these photos it was really good fun to start taking some in a place other than my home or garden and I was glad I’d packed my camera when I went for some retail therapy with Trudi after work last Tuesday.
I’d coveted this dress for so long, so as soon as I saw it down to around £15 in the ASOS sale I knew I wanted it. It’s more fitted around the waist than I usually go for (trying to ditch the habit of always sizing up) but apart from the fact it’s super creased from a frantic morning at work I really love it. There’s something very Wednesday Addams about it.
To brighten up the otherwise all black outfit I added in my beloved Flights of Nancy satchel which was a generous gift from the girl herself the Christmas before last. I will never not love what she sells, my overnight bag comes with me on every weekend trip to Ben’s as well as on any other travels.
As you can see my hair has developed a mind of it’s own at the moment and just won’t settle down and behave. I’m kind of loving the colour right now, where my ends were bleached before there is now a pink tinge from the new colour fading out….but as ever, I’m wondering what to do next. Part of me wants to bleach it all out and go pastel, or stay red but chop it all off.
Will I ever be brave enough?
I really want to start taking more photos outside of the home but I think I’ll try and make sure I’m not pulling odd faces or have hair that looks like there is a ten force gale blowing next time!
Where are your favourite places to get photos?
P.S. I finally have my appointment with the neurosurgeon today, wish me luck! I really need to get my back sorted, it’s dragging me down.
Nice to try somewhere different for sure. Nice shots as well. I’ve been lacking at the moment as there’s a skip in front of where we take pictures.

The dress looks great, it’s the perfect size! Love the new outdoor pics, I try to take mine outside but I’m not that comfortable posing in public. Good luck 🙂
Well I think with the dishevelled hair and this dress you’re looking rather Chung-esque! xxx
That a really cute dress – my hair is pretty much the same, it gets extra crazy when it due for dying randomly!
It’s a great lovely dress

That dress is lovely and really suits you x
This dress fits you perfectly, I love the collar detail! 🙂 I definitely prefer taking snaps outside but battling the elements can be a chore haha. I’m on a roof top in tomorrow’s post… A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. 😉

Oooooh shiny new location- looking like hotness as ever. You may think your hair is a mess, but I’d kill for that kind of volume!
Hope the Neuro appt went well. I’m waiting on a load of hospital stuff at the moment as they keep cancelling my appointments. Thank you Barts health trust. Really helpful.
