Midi Lengths

I have a soft spot for a bit of leopard print so it surprises me that I don’t wear this dress more often, I find the pattern to be a bit of a classic and so easy to dress up or down with the addition of block colours and clever accessories. For this look I kept things really simple, but change the boots for heels and add in some chunky jewellery and you have the perfect outfit for evening drinks with friends, too.

Dress: River Island via ASOS | Jumper: Primark | Boots c/o Ikrush

I find a midi length, be it in the form of a skirt or a dress always makes me feel more elegant. Even with it’s casual jersey fabric this dress makes me feel quite smart, and paired with my trusty Primark roll neck jumper it made for a good office outfit.

These boots from Ikrush have been an unexpected winner this Winter, possibly surpassing any other in the “most worn” stakes. They are so comfortable and practical and given that they were hardly expensive they’re also amazing quality.

What do you wear when you want to feel sophisticated or put together?

  2. I’m not keen on leopard print but I love, love, love the shape of that dress, it looks great on you! Ha, I am currently wearing the same roll neck Primark top! But with tweed trousers and a black knitted waistcoat!x

  3. I agree about midi length being more elegant but as I am short they look really silly on me and unflattering! I just wish shops made dresses more like above the knee and not mega short like some of them now x

This is a lovely outfit on you – the polo neck under the dress gives it a very 60s look – you remind me of Megan from Mad Men 🙂 x
