Oh, I give up with ever getting a decent photograph. It’s the one thing that really fuels my insecurity as a blogger as other people’s are always so clear and consice and mine are distinctly, well, not.
Anyway,
deal with it I guess because it’s not going to change any time soon. Not until I’m able to charm someone in to being a personal photographer and find romantic, whimsical settings for every outfit.
This dress is a recent purchase. I have quite a few black and white dresses but couldn’t resist yet another especially when it only costs £16.99 …good old New Look, the only clothes shop in town (I wish I were kidding) and it never fails me.
I thought I’d liven it up a bit with these pink boots from Barratts who got their first official outing on Thursday. They got a lot of attention and admiration at work from colleagues who find my shoe collection something of a marvel/standing joke.
WEEKEND. I’ve just woken up from a good sleep (I like, it’s not yet 7am and I’ve been awake well over an hour, curse my early bird nature) and today I’m seeing Ellie and Becca (hello!) for lunch, shopping and a shamefully long overdue catch up with Becca. I’m on a one woman mission for a bowler hat…I’m thinking H&M might be a good bet?

Love the dress, if you want hats have you ever been to Jack and Macks in Clifton Village? not sure if they do Bowlers but you can have hours of fun in there just trying on the hats…

Oh, that is an adorable dress! What a great find. Our New Look is always heaving with people, and crammed with clothes, so I give it a pass. Maybe I’m missing out! x
EARLY BIIIIIIIIRD!!! i slept in today, for first time this whole half term! i figured i better have at lease one “stay in bed” morning 🙂
annoyingly i feel very sluggish now and most likely will mooch about doing nothing all day. GAH!

I love meeting new people… and i totally agree with the blurry pic thing, how do some bloggers make their pics look so damn GOOD?! they must take hours and hours setting up the location and the set-up etc. i wish i had enough hours in the day to do that on a regular basis… but (bowler) hats off to them for doing it! (thats probs why my blog looks so messy!)

I almost bought that dress too but decided it was too similar to my Peacocks one!!! I always see you and other bloggers wear nice New Look stuff but apart from that dress, I never find anything in there!x

Your New York dress looks lovely. I like that first pose. It’s like a freeze frame of a ballerina. It’s amazing you can give that impression of being ready to dance ballet what with your foot having been in such bad shape recently. Photos don’t have to be crystal clear to be beautiful. I like them.
