Despite my best intentions I haven’t been able to resist the lure of a little more shopping. H&M have been seriously dangerous for me lately with several pieces that I’ve just needed in my life, the dress in this post was one of them- I saw it in store a month or so ago but they didn’t have my size, I didn’t even look online as by the time you’ve paid £3.99 postage it negates the bargain £7.99 price of the dress. I was just going to chalk it up as “not meant to be” when H&M sent me a free delivery code and the dress was in stock in my size. Clearly it was meant to be after all! I love it when that happens.

I love anything striped and nautical looking, and dress with it’s cross back detail was an instant winner for me. I figured it had been a while since I had given my cat print Vans an airing so I popped them on with this outfit and really liked how the two paired together! I always like gold against stripes so added in my gorgeous Guess watch, which also provided a pop of colour, overall this is one of my current favourite outfits and so easy to wear for a chilled out weekend.
Speaking of weekends, we have a long one looming in the UK! Anyone else excited for an extra lie-in? I don’t have any plans yet but I’m looking forward to not setting my alarm on Sunday night!
