Palazzo

Following on from my post all about the latest drop from TTYA x Long Tall Sally I am now finally sharing the piece that I picked from the collection. I decided to go for something unlike anything I already owned, the piece might seem basic but really, it’s anything but.

Cropped Tee c/o Cossac | Palazzo Trousers c/o TTYA x Long Tall Sally | Shoes: Clarks

I’m not really a trousers kind of girl but the second I saw these in a sneak-preview email from Long Tall Sally I just fell in love. Comfortable, cool and channelling minimal chic these crepe palazzo trousers are a welcome addition to my summer wardrobe. Just add white tee and some chunky heels and you have a smart/casual outfit at your disposal.

Whilst I’ve gone for a casual look here I would also really like to try and make these smart enough to wear for work as well, a (longer) and more fitted top, perhaps a blouse should do the trick- all ideas welcome though! I’m loving having some wide leg, loose fit trousers that don’t flap around my ankles, I think this is what has been putting me off trying them out for so long. Bravo Long Tall Sally, bravo.

TGIF! I hope everyone has had a fantastic week, how would you have styled these trousers? What have you got planned for the weekend?

  1. Ooh they look fab! Do I spy an elasticated waist too? If so – bet they’re super comfy.

Never though to look on LTS – might go have a sneaky peak at the collection!

  3. These are definitely my type of trousers, I love palazzo pants and you can definitely smarten them for work with a cure shirt sleeved dotted blouse of for fun, a bright fitted polka dot halter neck like those from Vivien of Holloway too!x

  4. O.M.G. They are bloody beautiful. I NEED palazzo pants in my life- alas not these ones, because I’m not what you’d call tall, but still! I don’t know if you’ve watched any of the ITV drama Home Fires, but there’s a character in it who wears palazzo pants a lot and this reminded me of that, I do love some 30’s and 40’s style and elegance!

  5. Ugh! You look so chich with these billowy black pants! Makes your beautiful red hair look even brighter! Nice work, girlie!
