There is, to me, something quite irresistible about red shoes. When I was younger my Mum tried to put me off with this random saying (thanks Claire for jogging my memory!) and for a while, it worked.
These Irregular Choice shoes were part of my Sarenza haul and between the deep red colour and the girlish bow on the front, I just *had* to have them.
Worn with an outfit entirely from Primark (those £5 jumpers wash really well, for anyone wondering) with a couple of cardigans added once I realised how utterly freezing it has become outside.
Mondays at work never change; it’s why I have Tuesday as my day off; to recover!

i had heard the phrase as ‘fur coat no knickers’..
My Mam always said it was ‘Red Hat, no knickers’, but shoes works for me! Especially red shoes with BOWS on! xxx

I’d never heard that phrase until my friend Mayo said it to me at a swing dance we were at when I was wearing red slingbacks! I think of it everytime I wear them now! Hee hee, I always wear this skirt with black tops and cardies!
