Sarenza Sunday- getting hi

Guess- £72

Nike- £119.99

Guess- £84

Vagabond- £68

Adidas Originals- £87.50

With the new year comes sporting resolutions with people worldwide vowing to get fit. Not for me though, I’m not adverse to a bit of excersise but I’m kind of stranded on the sidelines at the moment, instead browsing Sarenza and hoping to look the part with their fantastic range of Hi-top trainers. For some reason I’m attracted to hi-tops despite rarely wearing a sports shoe (with exception to my converse) top of my list are the baby pink pair by Vagabond which I can see me getting a lot of wear out of both now and as the weather improves but I wouldn’t say no to any of those I featured above. I think I might have to take the plunge soon, give in to my urges and invest.

What are your thoughts on Hi-tops? I used to live in trainers until my late teenage years and now I barely look at them, I have bad memories of baggy jeans and random band hoodies…thank goodness those days are over!

  1. I am also adverse to exercise! And I last wore high tops at 15/16 in the myspace era!

I have thought about getting some though recently, just not sure what I would wear with them :/

  3. I have a confession, I really don’t like high tops, they are too emo looking for me. Having said that, some people can carry them off really well, it is all in what you wear them with and I am certain you would rock them, you can make anything work!!

  5. Snap on being adverse to exercise haha. I love the pink Vagabond ones too – those brown leather looking laces are gorgeous! These sort of trainers just wouldn’t go with anything I own though, I don’t think any trainers would!! I envy people who can pull off these sorts of items with ease xx

  6. Indeed, the pink Vagabond trainers are so sweet. My current trainers are pretty vile, but I want to make sure I actually persist with this health kick before investing in a new pair of sneaks x

  7. Hey Laura! Just a quick message to say thank you for all your nice comments on my blog- I’m on a self-imposed Blog-ban for 2 weeks (the wonder of scheduled posts!) which I am kind of breaking right now but I will catch up with your posts after next week, thank you!
And I like the look of high-tops but I find them a pain to get on my feet- I like shoes which don’t involve too much untightening of shoe-laces to shove my size 8’s in!
Hope your January blues aren’t too bad!x

  8. Love the floral ones and you definitely can’t beat this type of shoe for comfort.

  9. Love the flowery ones! I used to have some similar ones!Great post! Can you and your followers do me a favour? I’m on a campaign trying to get votes to go to space! Would you and any of your followers mind visiting my blog and voting for me? It only takes a second 🙂 I would really appreciate it!
