The Big Relax

This is how my day will look,
or rather…how my day started; such is the way the world works that on a day when I could potentially stay in bed for hours, I woke up at some un-godly hour and have been catching up on some kindle reading for longer than I care to mention!
It did give me a chance to test out it’s snazzy new case though, a gift from the folk at mobile fun who stock a huge array of kindle cases alongside many, many other cases, accessories and more for every kind of modern day essential technology!
If your looking to pimp up your iPad/iPhone/blackberry/kindle/whatever, I highly recommend you check them out.

I shall also be working my way through this bag of mini malteaser bunnies, purely because I woke up with an immense craving for them. This will be counter-acted by kitty proofing the house a bit as today is the day we welcome a new cat to our home! Currently residing with my brother and his girlfriend, Mae is going to be coming home with my parents when they pay a visit to the sibling in Leeds.

Other activities on the agenda today; napping, coffee drinking; Nan visiting; friend seeing; blog reading.

I have five glorious days before I’m back at work and I am determined to make every second count in the least active of ways!

What are your plans for the long weekend? What are your favourite technology accessories? Where’s good to shop for cute pet accessories? Do I ask too many questions?

  1. just so excited for 4 consecutive days off. So rare! Going to try not to shop, but failing that kind of whatever strikes me. Just hoping the weather will be reasonable.

  2. I love Malteaster bunnies! I am definitely addicted! I also adore my Kindle – it’s perfect for going away! Enjoy your long weekend Laura 🙂 xxx

  4. Etsy has some really cute pet buys! Go & have a little gander m’dear, Mae is a complete cutie pie. Give her a squeeze from me.

I have yet to get a kindle, I am a bit funny as I love books to be books, but cannot deny that I am itching to have one, especially as some of my most read/favourite books are so ‘loved’ that they have pages coming loose. But I’d be lost without my iphone.

Enjoy your time off beauty xxx

  5. Have a lovely time! I’m just about to go for a run and then off to see Titanic 3D. Apart from that it’s all chilling and detoxing! 🙂 I might even have a salad for lunch. Hahahah. Enjoy your time off!

  6. i like the kindle case! good luck with the kitty proofing x

  7. Loving the Kindle case. Is that light attached? I need one with a light as I like to read in bed and hubby is normally out like a light! Every one I’ve looked at is £50+ and being the tight wad I am I didn’t want to pay that much.

The kitty is adorable. Mae is my youngest middle name. Our cat used to enjoy playing with the kids socks more than any toys we brought for him.

I also have four days off, yeah! I intend to see a fair bit of church (both today and Sunday) Then relax as much as possible. I still have my Easter cards to make (thats todays job) and my table decoration and pudding for Sunday (tomorrows job) other than that it will be chilling constantly I think.

Have a great few days hun.

  15. I’m so excited to meet Mae, I’m so excited for you!! I’ll be pottering around the house, finally unpacking the last of the boxes and finding homes for things.

  16. Mae looks so adorable, I’m so happy you are welcoming a kitty into your home. I know how much difference they make xxx

  17. p.s Love the name Mae too x

  18. Sounds like an awesome plan to me. I haven’t read anything I actually want to read for ages (Law Journals… really they don’t count!) and Malteaser bunnies may just be the best Easter chocolate ever.

My plans for Easter weekend are really simple. Spending it in London with T, enjoying some down time together and trying to avoid doing anything even remotely strenuous.

  19. I still cant bring myself to liking a kindle! i like books! proper books! the feel the smell teh weights everything, so a kindle is all wrong, except for the space saving issue which would be very useful in our little flat! Lol!
