Finally…Friday. And finally, my velvet shorts from ASOS arrived! They took over two weeks in the end, and then, after all that I wasn’t sure I liked them…
Several trying on sessions later, and I do like them, perhaps even love them.
I played it safe with colours this time, as I wore this to work, prior to a couple of appointments
(a little short for work?! Perhaps, but they went down well)
I also picked up this long lusted after faux fur coat in New Look the other day. I happened upon it by chance, and it was reduced from £40 to £18!
What do you lovely people have planned for the weekend? I plan on mucho relaxing here! I have Laryngitis and lazy-itis and just want to slob around!

Don’t they say ‘if you don’t love an item of clothing immediately in the shop, don’t buy it because you’ll never wear it’? – but like you with the shorts some of my fave clothes are ones I wasn’t that sure about at first. Not that I advocate buying loads of stuff you don’t like!! Bargain coat too, mmm would love a big fur coat…
I love the colours of the outfit – really makes the shorts the main focus. I am now going to New Look on my lunch break… 🙂

It’s tough when ordering online as when the item comes you can be a little thrown if it isn’t what you expected. They look good though and add a lovely mix of texture to your outfit.
I’m working tomorrow but off on Sunday and my sister is up so it’ll be a chilled day with her.
