Today marks 12 weeks since I came home from hospital, is that not crazy?! Yeah. The weather has warmed up a little (i.e. temperature is now above freedom) so I took the oppurtunity to wear something that doesn’t require a zillion layers!
This shirt dress is at least four years old, quite possibly older than that. I found it in a GAP outlet shop and don’t wear it a lot because it’s dry clean only and I have a tendency to spill things.
I’ve also recently become an Eyeko Ambassador and after making my first sale they sent me one of their lipglosses in Primrose Hill
I’ll admit, I was dissapointed. I’m not really a lipgloss girl, I find it sticky and annoying and I’d rather wear a tinted lipbalm or nude/pale pink lipstick.
The colour is pretty, described as:
A pretty lilac shimmer for girls on the go. This suits-all shade is ultra flattering.
And I think I’ve found a lipgloss I’ll wear. It’s a little sticky, but not enough to annoy me. The smell is gorgeous! And the colour? Well perfect for a low key but polished look!
An added bonus is it’s left my lips feeling in good condition, this cold weather has wreaked havoc on them, and sometimes I find lip products just irritate this. Eyeko are surely on to a winner!
Next on my to try list is their famed Fat Balms, though I can’t decide between Toffee and Frosting

Oh I love the pale green tights on you. I’ve never tried Eyeko before but I’ve definitely been more intrigued after I’ve seen so many bloggers endorse the products. I know superdrug used to sell it but seems it’s mainly online now!

Congratulations: 12 weeks. That is such a milestone.
You look wonderful. (That’s a subtle and sophisticated favourite of mine: Using that kind of lovely – dry clean only! – grey almost gunmetal colour with that particular green tights – and pink lips. Perfect).
I know what you mean about sticky lip gloss: I can’t bear it. Lately my favourite thing is a tin of some kind of rose lip balm -I bought it at American Apparel but it’s the kind of thing you can get anywhere – and using that and mixing it with some pale pink lipstick sometimes. But really, you’re so pretty, Laura, you don’t need anything. You’ve got great lips, all you really need is lip balm to make them shine.
I am so happy for you, and your family and friends must be so pleased and proud. To think: I remember you posting shots of your baking last year – you got me started – and now you’ll really be able to enjoy the fruits of your labour!
