I’m so over this cold weather. I hate how frumpy wearing so many layers makes me feel, and how painful being outside is.
I envy the kids off school, who are laughing, screaming and building snowmen whilst I’m stuck shivering and dreading have to go outside.
Still, no sign of it letting up for a while, so better get used to it. Here are a couple more outfits that are put together out of warmth, and layering potential rather than what I’d actually like to be wearing.
As much as I love my pretty wellies I hate how cumbersome they are to walk in and I’m finding myself lusting over high heels and summer sandals more so than ever before!

I ventured out in the cold yesterday and had to layer to an unfathomable degree! But today I fully intend on staying indoors, again bundled up in many layers…I really hate the cold. I’m supposed to be back at uni on Monday but if the snow doesn’t clear I won’t be able to get there…Blizzard Britain’s a bit of a nightmare really!
As for this weekend, if it’s cold I’ll probably stay in and become completely self-absorbed (whilst editing my dissertation), otherwise I’d really like to get in to town to visit the shops!

hey sweetie, I am layering too. it’s so cold esp in the mornings when I have to get up early for work. Love the necklace by the way. Oh and I noticed the Save Luella sticker on the side of your blog. Seems the problem is getting solved. Me and my bf went to the London shop and they were positive. I think the kids are the only ones enjoying this weather. Its fine to look at out of the window but really not when your trying to get anywhere. Luckily today has been my day off, which is rather good timing as I sit here watching the blizzard like snow fall from the sky yet again! Hopefully i’ll make it into work tomorrow and miss the next onset of snow with having Sunday and Monday off! I live in hope! Keep warm!
