Bag of Tricks

Meet my new bag, it is perfect. Sent c/o Brand Village I can fit all my really useful junk in there AND wear it across my body which is kind of vital at the moment whilst I’m needing the crutches outside of the house. All these small things you take for granted; not only was I bored of wearing the same old shoes, I was starting to resent my same old handbag too.

Anyway, yes, I really do love this bag and I’m glad I now know Brand Village exists as they have a massive selection of everything from purses to satchels from bag makes I would otherwise not have heard of.

I wore this with a semi-festive outfit; fair isle reindeer top from New Look last year and my ever present skater skirt, also New Look. On my feet are those Sarenza boots which are now starting to fall apart after weeks and weeks of my awkward side footed walking.

A big thank you from Mum and myself for the Birthday wises. It was the perfect low-key day for her spent with the people she wanted around. Maybe if things had been different there would have been a big bash, but as it stands quiet and relaxed was the way forwards. We put on a pretty awesome tea party complete will jelly and ice-cream, cake, sausages on sticks and party bags…I’m making that a requirement for all birthdays from now on.

How do you celebrate birthdays?

With two days to go, are you Christmas ready?

  1. Love this outfit on you and love your new bag too. Birthdays are pretty low key in our house but we make a big fuss at Christmas. I’m as Christmas ready as I can manage this year. Whatever I’ve got will have to do because it’s too late for more shopping. I can’t handle Christmas Eve shopping. Hope you have a lovely Christmas Daisy! xx

  2. This outfit is so lovely and I think very similar to what ill be wearing come Christmas Day 🙂 that bag looks great, cross shoulder bags are always useful, I always use one when I’m travelling so that I do t have to worry about it and have both my hands free. Xo

  3. Your hair looks lovely in this post and so does the bag! It looks like a really good size and having a long strap as well as short handles makes it ideal.

  4. That bag is perfect, I love how it has the option of being a cross the body bag xxx

  5. Very nice outfit, very 23rd of December appropriate! I had a quick look a Brand Village… another one getting added to may favourites and another ‘oh my god’ heavy sigh from my bank balance lol.

I am glad you all had a good time yesterday. Low key is sometimes better than a big full on party as you all get to talk and be together and spend quality time together. Plus you won’t have all exhausted yourselves for then the big man comes in 2 days… ah I am so excited I might pee in my pants!! Lol. Ok I am sure you needed to know that.

No I am not ready, in fact I better get up and get going with my baking, making, wrapping and shopping (it would have been soo much better if that last duty rhymed instead of being shopping haha)

    Happy Sunday!
