Citizen

You know me, I love a good watch and so when I was contacted by Citizen about their new Drive collection and offered a watch of my choice I was delighted, not to mention excited!
I instantly fell for the BRT collection, with it’s bright and funky colours and a sports luxe feel I felt like this was right up my street- and I wasn’t wrong!
I teamed my watch with a very matchy matchy outfit. The skirt was one I saw in Primark a couple of months ago but refused to pay ÂŁ12 for as it really isn’t the best quality. However when I saw it reduced to a fiver I snapped it up and it’ll last me this Summer at least. The tee is one of my favourites in terms of fit and quality and came from Uniqlo, who quite frankly can’t be beat when it comes to basics! The shoes are by Esprit and come via Sarenza.
I can’t wait to get a bit of sun on my skin and show this watch off to it’s full capacity. What I really love about Citizen is their Eco Drive technology which means you never need to worry about watch batteries, or the environment. The watch is powered by light, both natural and artificial which means it charges as you wear it, I think this is just a genius idea and an ethos I can fully get behind.
Citizen have some really stunning styles out in their latest collection, so if you’re in the market for a new watch then I highly recommend them as a place to consider. There are some rather beautiful metal styles I have my eye on, which could quite easily be on pa r with a certain Blogger’s favourite watch designer…
What do you think of the Eco Drive concept? How do you like how I styled the watch?

  1. You look gorgeous Laura, love this skirt on you! x

  2. Love the idea of a watch that charges as you wear it and in the light rather than having a battery- genius. Also loving the colour choice. So envious of your skirt too- I just cannot seem to pull of this kind of style, I think I’m just a bit too short in the body.
