Since I started doing the phlebotomy I’ve given up my Tuesday day off to run a mini clinic in the mornings (which I am loving!) so this afternoon to indulge in some much needed quiet time whilst Mum was out visiting my Nan in the hospital- she’s defied all the odds and doctor’s expectations!
Wearing skinny jeans from Next and a jumper I picked up ages ago from Motel Rocks vintage on Park Street. I can’t remember how much it was other than under a fiver!
I finally managed to track down MUA BB cream in light in my local Superdrug; since it was released they’ve only had medium and dark in stock, so frustrating!
I also had the excitement of a parcel from Stanwells re-run after winning a giveaway on the gorgeous Emma’s blog … reveal post to come on that!
And what down time would be complete without a spot of baking? Just some bog standard spiced fairy cakes covered in chocolate and sprinkles. I miss having time to experiment in the kitchen!

Oh I do love a chill out day off from the humdrum working ritual. I’m probably one of very few people that still needs to try a BB cream, look forward to seeing how you find this brand. Cute top, a like the sleeves. X

My downtime? Hmm I don’t really have any as tend to fill it with other projects; making things etc, but I guess for me that & writing letters is my down time. xxx

I quite like doing things slowly when I have the time! Reading, eating, tidying, making cards, everything but at a slower pace! The earrings in the previous post are lovely!

I am lucky to have had a few days of down time as I am usually very busy!

Good news about your nan! I’ve really got into baking since moving, love trying to come up and try new recipes even if they don’t always turn out so well!

I’ve tried the garnier bb cream and wasn’t too impressed, the light shade made me look orange!.. but I’m going to give the MUA one a go when I find it! You’ve got me wanting to do some baking now, might make some easter based cakes over the weekend 🙂

down time is spent in the blogosphere, or letter writing. or in the garden. Actually sleeping too. /How dull I sound. I baked cherry cakes on Sunday. They were very nice.
My downtime is sent blogging, gardening or day dreaming! Id like to start baking again but to find the time!
