Fashion Culprit

Dress c/o Fashion Culprit, Tights c/o welovecolors, Boots: Yull.

I do love a good little black dress, and even more so one that is versatile enough to be dressed down for day and up for night.

This one from Fashion Culprit ticks all the right boxes; worn yesterday for a mooch (hobble) around some shops, and I can also see ways to work it with a blazer for work and with some bold accessories for a girly pub night. Winner. All that and it only costs £15! Don’t let the cheap price put you off, this is made with good quality, thick material meaning it hangs nicely and keeps it’s shape. Of course, to sweeten the deal there is the heart cut out back, too. I want one in every colour!

I’ve been feeling sorry for myself with my injured foot all week so treated myself to a few new beauty bits too, making the most of the 3 for 2 offer in href
=”http://www.awin1.com/awclick.php?mid=2041&id=118255″ target=”_blank”>Boots.com. I always find new mascaras best after a few uses so when the above was the result after one coat of the first usage I was impressed. I haven’t had a chance to test the nail polishes yet but seeing other bloggers who have is making me excited!

Are you a Fashion Culprit?

What new beauty buys have you snapped up lately?

  1. Oooh I’ve been thinking about buying those polishes! I’ve only recently bought the Barry M glitter in red & silver (plus gold, pink, turquoise & multi…whoops!) so not sure I can justify it though…ever since Liam built me a nail polish shelf I’ve become even more addicted to snapping up new colours than usual!

My most recent purchases have also included a mascara – waterproof MaxFactor one I think – and Barry M’s waterproof silver eye liner, both of which I love. Now my face is losing its tan I’m getting more into make up again 🙂

Love that dress too, the cut out is cute!

  2. You know I very nearly bought that mascara this week! Loving the dress, I’ve been looking for some new wardrobe additions so that would fit into mine perfectly xoxo

  3. Lovin’ the black on black on black look, hun. And the heart cut out in the back is a sweet surprise. 🙂

  6. What a lovely dress, any dresses that can be worn for more than one occasion are ALWAYS winners in my book! Would never really go for something with a heart cut out of the back, but this dress has managed to sway my thinking on that! You look fab-u-lous Laura!! x

  7. I love the little heart cutout on the back. It’s adorable!

  8. That dress is really cute, I totally agree that it would be easy to style for day or night. Love the nail polishes too, I nearly treated myself to some Models Own sparkles yesterday but I’m trying to save as much as I can. Boo! xx

  12. This dress is lovely, great shape. I’ve just had a quick look at the website, I really liked the Ralia polka dot dress, but most were too short for me.
I am wedded to my Boots Lash Adapt mascara, I have two spares at all times… because you just never know 🙂
