I’m feeling completely un-inspired with outfits at the moment, I’m in another of my “look in the wardrobe and suddenly hate it all” phases. I’m blaming the weather, the time of year and the fact I’m not dressing for work right now and I’ve got so used to doing that.
Still, it’s not like this outfit truly saw the light of day yesterday; bar a mercy dash to Tesco inbetween downpours.
Dress; New York Laundry (so old now), Tights; (the now defunct) Ethel Austin, Boots; New Look
Today and tomorrow I actually have vague plans, so maybe inspiration will strike…looking out of the window, it probably won’t! I’ll just do what I need to then curl up this afternoon with my iPod touch that I caved and ordered and a vast mug of tea.

We all have those wardrobe moments so I wouldn’t worry too much it will pass. When mine is that bad a few friends and I will swop a few items which gives it a little boost at no cost.

Life & clothing ruts are dire. I feeling slightly glad that you have them too, as am so in awe of your style that if makes me feel more normal that I have wardrobe ‘I hate you’ periods.
For me, sometimes it is just because I haven’t got a new something for a while. Or because weirdly my go to favourites suddenly don’t feel so favourable.

Cute outfit – i’m stuck in a clothing rut too – I didn’t really have the space to move a lot of clothes and I just seem to be living in the same ones. Plus I don’t have a bank card so I can’t go wild [yet]! hehe

i’m feeling a bit the same when i look at my wardrobe.. this swimming and weight loss lark is great and all, but i don’t think i was prepared for how dramatic an effect it was going to have on how my clothes fit, or rather, don’t fit :/

I love the pattern and colours on that dress, it is beautiful. When I am stuck in a rut I try and set myself a challenge like wearing clothes in my wardrobe that I haven’t worn for ages or making an evening piece work for daytime.
