Lusting over: Richard Weston Scarves

Living in the UK a scarf is pretty essential…although I don’t show it on my outfit posts (mainly because they never match what I am wearing) I am rarely without a scarf in the winter, and often in the spring/autumn too…exception made for the Summer when it just doesn’t feel right even if the weather is shocking!

I’d seen some blog buzz around Richard Weston Scarves pre-Christmas, and I’ve finally had a chance to take a closer look…

Professor of architecture, Richard Weston, is one of the fashion world’s most unique design stars, with Vogue.com hailing him as “the most unexpected new talent in British Fashion”.
His collection of scarves promise to lend every look unexpected edge, while the newly launched smart-phone covers and silk covered journals become the must-have accessory for everyday life.

Richard Weston has taken the fashion world by storm with his collection of unique products, each printed with an image of a precious stone, and is already stocked at leading retailers such as Liberty and Net-a-Porter.com.

Inspired by the natural beauty of gemstones, Richard Weston’s striking products are a work of art, quite literally. Quite the unlikely talent, he was the break out star of the 2011 BBC series Britain’s Next Big Thing, and an award-winning designer, architect and author as well as holding the Chair of Architecture at Cardiff University.

“I suspect most people are a little bemused – a middle-aged, overweight professor with higgledy- piggledy teeth is the antithesis of designer-stereotypes,” Prof. Weston

Aren’t they incredible? The last one is my favourite, it kind of reminds me of looking down on Earth and the colours are so vibrant!

As mentioned above, the scarves are available to buy at Liberty, Net A Porter and also at the Weston Earth Images website.

You can also show some love for the brand on Facebook and Twitter!
