Pink and White

So, we have Ben living with us at the moment which is brilliant. Not only do I get to see my boyfriend every day, I also have a blog photographer so stand a better chance of getting decent outfit photos. This set was taken on our one year anniversary last Tuesday, it’s what I wore for my first reception shift back at work as well as for a meal out in the evening.
Top: New Look | Skirt: Primark | Shoes: Topshop | Jewellery c/o Jon Richard
I love this top from New Look so much, an absolute bargain at £12.99 I stocked up and bought it in pastel pink and baby blue as well. Despite being on the short side these are perfect for work and go super well with skirts. In this outfit it makes me look quite…bulky, for want of a better word but until I get some more fitted tops to wear with this style of skirt I can live with how it looks!
I accessorised the outfit with some statement silver jewellery from the folks at Jon Richard, these are the pieces that I was also sent with the gold ones I featured last week. Also from the mood collection and available to buy online and at Debenhams these fit really well with my style and give a sleek finish to an otherwise plain outfit. I think the necklace will become a staple for adding to plainer work outfits as it looks chic and smart and gives a polished finish.
The skirt is of course “that skirt” from Primark which every blogger and her dog now owns. It doesn’t stop me loving it though, I’m a bit obsessed with this shape right now. I saw a gorgeous gingham skirt in Primark the other day too, but the quality was terrible so I left it behind. The shoes were an absolute steal in the Topshop sale after Christmas, I think they were something silly like £12 and are so comfortable and perfect for Spring.
What are you stocking up on right now?

I have this skirt and I’m OBSESSED with it. Always trying to think of new things to pair it with. Love how you look like a marshmallow in colour but not in shape! 😉

  2. Hi Laura, me too I love the top. Pink and white combination is beautiful as you.

  3. I love everything about your look. The skirt is quite possibly my favourite piece of yours. The shape is amazing and the colour is so beautiful.

  8. I love that shade of pink! Your Primark skirt is lovely.

  9. P.S.: Belatedly, Happy Anniversary last Tuesday! As for what Iv’e been stocking up on: Pretty full briefs to review on my blog. I’m having difficulty finding ultra-feminine contrasting but complementary blouses in a 22 inch length and my size to style with them.

Such a wonderful look – that’s actually the first time I’ve seen that skirt (where have I been?) but it looks so lovely. Team Fuschia! I keep stocking up on an endless supply of jumpers, but I’ll probably regret that in a couple of months! X

  11. This skirt suits you so well and it’s the first time I’ve seen it.

  14. It sounds like there are a lot of congratulations in order!!! Congrats on everything – your first anniversary, temporarily? living together, and going back to work! I’m so glad to hear your back is officially fixed now, it must be such a huge relief for you to know. Again, you’re looking stunning! Pink is definitely a colour that suits you – I’ve seen this skirt worn a lot of ways but I think this is my favourite. I actually love the way the looser top sits with the skirt. Your shoes are amazing!! So shiny and pretty, I have a dress I bought in the sale that’s like a throwback to my childhood party dresses and paired with these shoes (minus the heel back in the day!) I’d probably be the grown up version of my younger self haha. xxx
