This post is made up of favourites old and new. You’ll have to excuse the random photography, these were some of the first photos I took with my new camera using my tripod and I seemingly had some issues with the height adjustment!
Dress c/o Motel | Boots c/o Missguided
So these boots won’t be to everyone’s taste but I personally can’t get enough of them. At first I thought they were quite ugly looking but the more I saw of them online the more my desire for them grew. I was lucky enough to have these sent to me by Missguided and every time I wear them I get stopped by so many people wanting to know where they are from! They are really, REALLY comfortable too- not often the case with “fashion footwear”. You can expect to see a lot more of these!
I don’t even know how long I’ve had this Motel dress for now, it’s got to be a good three years and I still love it. It’s one of those dresses that fits and flatters no matter what my weight has done and is smart enough for an office shift at work with some more formal footwear as well as being the perfect candidate for a dressing down at the weekends. I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of this!

You look fabulous! I love the quality of the new photos, I’m sure with practise you won’t even think about where to put your tripod and which angle to put your camera at in future, it’ll just come naturally! I’m not surprised those boots got so many compliments, they’re very unusual! They’re something I could imagine my sister wearing, she has a pair of black cut out boots but she is one to be more adventurous with her clothing at times. There are so many things in my wardrobe that are firm favourites, some I’ve had for years and years and some are more recent additions. I think longevity is the thing I aim for when I’m buying something new now – I want it to be timeless and good quality! xxx

Your Motel pink feather print dress is lovely. I think most fashionistas have to take 25-50 photos with a tripod for each 2 or three they eventually use. I know I have a difficult time getting perfectly in the centre of the pictures, getting the distance and lighting right etcetera. Unfortunately most of the items in my wardrobe that I’m inclined not to get rid of seem to either wear out or not fit me anymore.

The print on the dress is lovely. Actually I am pretty attached to most of the clothes in my wardrobe and don’t ever like parting with anything, which is why my wardrobes are stuffed so full!
