somebunny loves you

Bunny dress from H&M, Tesco tights, Jeffrey Campbell boots c/o Sarenza*

I bought this dress a couple of weeks ago (actually believing it to be a top until I finally tried it on!) for the bargain price of ยฃ12.99. Originally I had gone in search of the peter pan collar rabbit blouse that so many bloggers have, and I covet…but when I saw it in store I realised it just wasn’t going to be long enough on me to be versatile, so opted for this instead.

Wearing it as a dress is about as far out of my comfort zone as it gets. Whilst not strictly body-con, it’s the closest I have got in, well, ever and I still don’t think it’s for me. Shortly after I snapped these photos I added a midi skirt over the top and called that my outfit for the day. I don’t know if I’m a coward, or saving the general public from something terrible…one day perhaps I will overcome this phobia of all things fitted, I see people on a daily basis rock it and think that they all look incredible.

Anyway, enough rambling. How was your weekend been? It’s been blissfully chilled out here; I spent Saturday evening on a friend’s sofa watching Take me Out and Casualty…staying in is the new going out, right?

  1. Well I think you look fabulous and have nothing to worry about. But you are right in saying you have to feel comfortable and if by adding the skirt that’s how you felt it was the thing to do.

We stayed in with a nice bottle of wine and a good meal last night too, only we watched films until we could no longer keep our eyes open. Hard work starting up an allotment I can tell you! Back off to finish it today (so no glamourous heels only wellies!) and then a big family lunch at ours. Now what shall I cook for pudding?!

  2. I think this looks absolutely super cute on you! Love the print and colour with the orange of your boots, looks awesome! If, however, you don’t feel confident in your outfit it’s good to add a little something like you did with your skirt ๐Ÿ™‚

The weekend has been hectic and tressful. Yesterday was my Dad’s 60th birthday and Chinese new year celebrations, and when I got home I realized Ryyni was sick again. So today is probably spent inside except for a walk to the store and get something to eat. Hopefully we’ll get an appointment to our vet when it opens tomorrow morning.

And staying in is definately the new going out! ๐Ÿ˜‰

So far the weekend’s been very good. I went into town to pick up a price I’d won at lomography and ended up drinking the best chai latte I’ve ever had and accidentally crashing into Tulip Day where I could pluck free tulips from this huge square:D

You look really lovely in your dress too. I totally get what you mean and agree. I think the secret to looking amazing in your clothes and having ‘style’ is to just feel comfortable in what your wearing and only wear what makes you feel like ‘you’! Well thats my motto anyway, ha! X
