Tartaned

The second I saw this dress on Terri’s blog sale I knew I needed it. When it arrived on Saturday I slipped it on and knew I’d met my dress match. LOVE. A bargainous love. It kind of reminds me of a dress I used to wear to parties when I was all of five years old!
Teamed with simple black tights and studded boots c/o Sarenza I wore this outfit for a potter around Bath on Sunday with my lovely friend Ellie.
All my outfit posts this week are totally retrospective, if I were doing it in “real time” you’d be getting nothing more than baggy jeans, sloppy tees and novelty PJs; I was struck down with some horrible virus that left me feverish and generally “blah” so dressing up hasn’t been high on my list of priorities. In true Laura style I have bounced back and will shortly be heading off to work for the last two days of the week before heading off to Holland for a few days,
from no holiday in seven years to two in one year…I don’t do things by halves.

Anyone else been struck by germs? I’m thinking of donning a surgeons mask and banning people from breathing in my direction.

What has your best blog sale buy been?

  10. I swear your Gwen Stefani in disguise. First bananas and now tartan, I love it all xxx

  11. That dress is gorgeous and both me and my daughter had dresses like that when we were little. I got my daughter tartan high heels in the New Look sale recently, she’s seventeen just in case you think I’m buying high heels for a younger girl, she wanted them when she was really young but she didn’t get them! I’ve only once bought something from a blog and it was in my MySpace days, just a little pair of earrings from a friend in California who made jewellery. xx

  12. This makes me regret selling it! It looks so good on you!

  13. Oh that dress is gorgeous! xx
