In contrast to my last two outfits which were distinctly grey, both yesterday and today I have opted for splashes of bright colours, mainly in the form of tights.
I was thinking back to when I first bought a pair of coloured tights; perhaps two years ago?
Anyway, I was so terrified of wearing them and drawing attention to myself, but now, I just don’t care.
Yesterday involved coffee and wanderings with Mum, and getting soaked by a torrential downpour.
I am SO over this weather.
Today I have a quiet day planned, and a major urge to de-clutter my bedroom, which is very unlike me. But still, I can do that and catch up with the Masterchef final at the same time.
Apologies for the super lame poses, anyone else find it REALLY hard to know how to stand when taking photos?
I believe I have a quiet weekend ahead too, same as always in Laura land. But I don’t mind, quiet is good and with Strictly and X-factor on TV, I’m quite happy to be lazy, staying warm and dry.
What do your weekend plans involve?
Other than TV, I work tomorrow morning, and then perhaps I’ll do a bit more Christmas shopping, or some crafts.

I always seem to amaze my family with my tights- for someone as ‘reserved’ as me coloured tights didn’t seem me but like you i just find them very, freeing- a nice way to just let go!
You look, as ever, utterly adorable and i don’t think your poses are lame- i always end up with a odd head tilt up to the right!

That second dress is stunning on you, especially with the gorgeous tights.
I do find it tough to take outfit photos and I feel awkward sometimes. I usually just try to find a pose that gets as much of the outfit in as possible so I only have to post one full body shot! 🙂 Then I sometimes post details which are much easier to capture.

Christmas shopping – for the first time ever im actually enjoying it this year! Probably because im not leaving it til last minute and getting in a panic over it, im just grabbing things as i see stuff i really like, much easier!!

I love both of those outfits. The colorful tights are so cute, I’ve been wanting to get some myself but I’ve been a bit hesitant about wearing them too. They’re so cute though, so what the heck, why not wear them! 😉
And I agree, it definitely is awkward posing while standing for pictures. I end up looking super silly or like I’m trying to be a model (Which I most definitely am not! 😉 )

i definitely find it hard … what i do is look away o i wont be so self conscious and then i jsut move around lol i always end up getting the same poses all the time .
i need tights like these im so done with the plain black ones .. everyone wears those i like these colors

I love wearing coloured tights, though my friends think it’s slightly odd. Lol, I never know how to stand in photos, i need to delete a lot of photos where i look like a total idiot. However, everyone poses in their own style and I’m just trying to find mine. I think you always look great in your photos!
