Jelly Baby

I tried to resist, really I did, but it seems resistance is futile when shoes and bags are concerned and I’ve fallen in love with the trend for all things plastic. I never thought I’d see the day where I was lusting over jelly shoes, or rubber bags but here I am, presenting to you my current wish list from Sarenza and Pauls Boutique

On the shoe front (from top left) there’s the Melissa violetta, Michael Kors MK Jelly Plate and the Samba by Lemon Jelly all from Sarenza. Bag wise, it’s serious crush time on the Translucent Molly style from Pauls Boutique. I’ve pictured the hot pink and the blue bags, but there is pretty much a rainbow of fun, summery colours available and they are so perfect for days out or a holiday in the sun.

Plastic Fantastic! What do you think? Have you caved in to the jelly trend? These aren’t jelly shoes in the traditional sense- but a pair of those have already found themselves in my shoe-drobe!

Sarenza Sunday- MEOW!

In case you’d failed to notice, I’m a bit of a crazy cat lady as well as a shoe addict, so the second I clapped eyes on the pair below I just knew I had to own them. Thankfully I had a birthday coming up, and parents sympathetic to my feline footwear needs and so, for once my Sarenza Sunday post is about something I already own.
The ASPCA Cat printed Vans caused a bit of a stir when I shared my pair on my instagram and I had a lot of people asking where I got them from. Well, they are out of stock in a lot of places, but Sarenza do have more sizes than most left in stock and you can sign up for a handy alert to let you know when your size comes back in.
These really are the coolest, and comfiest shoes I own. I’m certain a few of my friends (and perhaps my boyfriend) would like to disown me when I wear these but I don’t care. For such a printed shoe they are surprisingly versatile due to the neutral colours so get worn with pretty much everything- they lend themselves especially well to denim. You can expect to see an outfit post featuring them in the not too distant future, although I have been very lazy about getting outfit photos lately…
Not a cat lover? They also come in a dog print hi-top version too, there’s also a fabulous mid-season sale on at Sarenza right now too, so do have a browse of that whilst browsing these- and don’t blame me when you make a purchase or two!

Sarenza Sunday- Mad for Michael

I’m taking a break from the shoe side of Sarenza this week, not because I’m bored of shoes- there is no danger of that happening any time soon! I just got a bit sidetracked whilst browsing the bag section of the website and discovering the brightest, most beautiful but sadly way out of my price range bag.
I know I’m not the only blogger crushin’ on Michael Kors Selma bag, and this Mandarin coloured one is quite possibly my favourite yet. I’m not one for orange coloured clothes, but for accessories it’s a real winner for me, and with it’s roomy nature and sharp looking finish this is the perfect bag to take anywhere from the office to the shops!
Which bag would you most like to own right now?

Sarenza Sunday- chic

Sometimes it’s the simple things in life that are the best, and when it comes to shoes it doesn’t come simpler or better than the classic black pump. This is a bit of a luxury (read expensive) shoe crush, but hey, it’s my birthday tomorrow and a girl is allowed to dream.
Meet “Love Dance” by Love Moschino from the Boutique section on Sarenza. Aren’t they just the prettiest pumps ever? It’s the metal cut out heart detail that has won me over, and despite costing £155 I’m thinking that actually these aren’t a bad price for something I’d clearly wear every day. If I had the money available I’d be buying these to wear for work- I’m always on the look out for a comfortable flat shoe that has something a little bit different about it, and these fit the bill perfectly.
Have any shoes caught your eye lately?

Sarenza Sunday- The Inbetween

April can be a tricky month when it comes to fashion, one minute the sun is out and you can’t move for people sporting hot pants and flip-flops, the next minute it’s freezing cold and you’re hurriedly digging out your winter coat and boots. I never really know what to put on my feet, I feel that sandals would be a little premature and yet I’m tired of ankle boots no matter how much I love them.
Jeffrey Campbell may be on to something with their Carina Shoe available on Sarenza, it’s a style I’ve seen done by many a brand but not all are quite so easy on the eye (but then a lot of them ARE easier on the wallet)
I’m bordering on obsessed with the colour of these shoes- not black and not quite brown, perfectly versatile to wear with everything from sugary sweet new season hues right through to ripped jeans and a hoodie for the weekend. These are far more cut out than most cut out ankle boots meaning it’s easier to pretend that Spring really will present itself to us for more than the odd day at a time without risking frostbite.
Sarenza have so many incredible styles right now, with pretty much daily new arrivals. I could probably write a post like this every single day and still have more I’d like to feature. Why not take a browse and let me know what’s caught your eye?
