There are some combinations that just work; coffee and cake, french fries and ketchup, sunshine and sandals, denim and gingham. It was the latter I opted for on an almost sunny (but not very warm) Sunday a couple of weekends ago when Ben and I hopped on the bus to the town just up from where we live for a little bit of sea front exploration.
A picnic followed by a stroll on which we admired gorgeous houses that we can only dream of living in ended up with a trek up a path called “poets walk” and prancing around on the moorland at the top. It’s a shame the sky wasn’t more blue as it would have made for prettier pictures, but never mind…

Gingham is my favourite pattern for the Summer by far and I need some more of it in my wardrobe- where have you seen the best pieces lately?
