“Midori melon liqueur has teamed up with Models Own to create a limited edition set of melon scented nail varnishes in three glam shades of green.
The three Midori inspired shades are the perfect way to add a splash of colour to a night in or night out during the dreary winter months ahead. What’s more, the varnishes are melon scented, making every manicure smell as good as a Midori cocktail tastes.
The set includes a bright My Midori green, a golden metallic green and a glittery combination of greens and blues meaning there’s a shade for any occasion.

On the back of this press release landing in my inbox last week I was also sent a set of the nail polishes to try out myself. Models Own are top of my list for nail polish brands and I was really excited to see how these were in real life.
The set is quite something and I loved all three colours- a rarity in a predetermined set of colours! I had a little play about with Golden Green (left) and Dancing Queen (middle) and did a quick manicure
I rarely get to paint my nails because of my job so I am very out of practice but I absolutely love Golden Green and Dancing Queen complimented it beautifully.
I’m yet to try My Midori Green, super brights scare me a little but I might take the plunge soon! The polishes really do have a pleasing melon scent. Consider me very impressed! All I need now is a Midori cocktail.

Models own is one of my favourite mainstreams… Very tempted by these! is the formula as good as models own usually is? The bright green would be amazing for nail art. Yea ok in getting a little carried away :p lol. X
