weekend outfits and bike love

Β Short and sweet post today with my outfits from the weekend- purely because I liked them both
plus a sneaky preview on the fixed wheel bike the boy is building me- did I mention that he’s building me a bike?! I love it already and only the frame is done. We manage to snag a super rare French vintage frame for an amazing prize on ebay and he’s sprayed it hot pink then designed stickers to jazz it up a bit. The name of the bike is taken from my blog name- it seemed like a pretty girly yet apt name for a bicycle, don’t you think? I’m so excited to see the whole thing finished although it’ll be a good month or longer yet as we need to source the remaining parts and let things like the laquer set. I think it’s hands down the most romantic thing any one has ever done for me, although me learning to ride fixed wheel could be incredibly amusing- I’m rusty on a bike with gears!
Dress c/o Fashion Culprit, Jumper c/o Skip n Whistle (can you tell it’s a bike mad household?)

Mine. All mine.

Wearing top to toe New Look

I hope everyone has had a good start to the week, there’s a real Autumnal edge to the days now isn’t there? I’ll be off to work shortly, then in to town to get a new ear piercing (partly to keep Mum company as she gets her nose pierced and partly to reward myself for putting on half a stone at last…only a whole other stone to go!) Also getting quite excited about my upcoming few days away although I have a huge amount to do before that happens!

  2. He’s building you a bike!? That’s love right there πŸ™‚ Love the fact you’ve named it after your blog x

  3. The bike, oh the bike! How lovely! Maybe you’ll get married on a bicycle made for two… ;O) ?

  4. That’s the most romantic thing I’ve ever heard/read! I’d say I wish someone would do that for me, but the fact that I can’t ride full-stop would be a bit of a hindrance. They’d have to teach me to ride it too πŸ™‚

Well done on your half-stone achievement! It’s so wonderful to see how far you’ve come, you’re doing fab!

    Nat x

  12. How cool building you a bike – he’s a keeper! Congrats on your weight gain too, very well done!

  13. So jealous you’re going to be a fixie girl, I’ve set my heart on having a new bike, a Fixie, and it’s been built for women as well. Also- under half the weight of my current beast, the only thing not to like it is the Β£550 it costs, that I don’t presently have!

  14. I wish my pawl would make me a bike! I love both of those jumpers! X

  15. Your boy’s a keeper! Well done on the weight gain, you look fantastic x

  16. Aw yay for the new bike – join the pink bike club!!
It’s definitely becoming more and more autumnal. :/

  17. Can’t wait to see the bike finished; when I won a fixie I thankfully discovered that it could be a fixie or a single speed so I can cruise and not brake and nearly kill myself πŸ˜‰

  18. Beyond cute! My ex-boy used to tinker with my bike and i would always look on with pure admiration. I know nothing about tyres and spokes and the like… which i think made him feel all big and manly! haha x

  19. Aw what a cute bike πŸ™‚ Love your first outfit, the jumper and dress are both so lovely πŸ™‚ xx

  20. aww what a lovely boyfriend you have πŸ™‚ Also well done with the weight gain, you look fab x
