What I Wore (weekend edition)

Happy Monday guys,
second post today (check below for the important one!)
Here’s a quick round-up of what I wore over the weekend, sub-standard photos and all!

Saturday:

A Primark dress purchased when I went on my shopping trip with Mum and semi-forgotten about. Our house is warm, hence the lack of layers, when I went out a cardigan and jacket was added!
This dress will no doubt be everywhere in a few weeks but I couldn’t resist the sweet print.

Oh hey there no makeup (= tired face). I love how the dress is longer at the back than the front.

Sunday:

Like I said yesterday, I wore nothing of interest, just some old re-found river island jeans that would be perfect if they were a couple of inches longer. And a tee given to me by a friend.
Ohh and Go Go Philip Necklace.

I hate my thighs, hence the utterly random pose and my usual distaste for trousers!

What does your weekend style look like?

((there may be a lack of outfit posts this week, shame eh?! dad’s off work and looks at me like I’ve grown two heads when I try and do anything blog photo related…upside…we’re hitting up Matalan on Thursday!))

Beating it.

Just a quick heads up to you all that this week is Eating Disorders Awareness Week.

Most of you know my story and that this will ALWAYS be a cause close to my heart.

Sunday Randoms

Here we go, my “I’m wearing nothing of interest so have some random photos” post! I hope everyone is having a great weekend,
those of you at LFW…I hope your not too exhausted! I’ll confess, I’ve barely looked at the collections online, fashion week seems to pass me by in a haze, it’s too soon to think about A/W when I barely know what I want to be wearing tomorrow, but Paul Costelloe has captured my heart!

This is my latest recipe book purchase, I’ve seen it mentioned on several foodie blogs I follow and although I’m not vegan, or even vegetarian I have an interest in elements of the vegan lifestyle, especially baking and I can’t wait to give it a go! Next purchase will be the cupcake version.

Popped in to see my grandparents yesterday and was greeted with “We’re glad your here, we have a present for you” and they proceeded to present me with this cushion. Good taste for older folk don’t you think?

Snack of the week! I purchased this on Monday after meeting B and pursuing M&S for something for dinner. I bought a multipack but wish I had thought to get more. I’m going back…there were other flavours too. I LOVE popcorn. Randomly we found a popcorn maker in one of our kitchen cupboards, so I will experiments with creating my own combinations.

And finally, a couple of postsecrets that caught my eye this week. I might try the first one!

(and because I’m an idiot and forget things, my giveaway is actually open for another week! We won’t talk about the state of my memory!)

Got to Shop- Matalan

Hey guys, here’s another post-type that I’m thinking of making regular (I seem to be on a “must be organised” spree this week)

GOT TO SHOP

and this week, I have got to shop at Matalan…seriously, they have gone from a shop barely on my radar, perhaps good only for cheap basics, to a one stop place for on trend and affordable fashion! Here are my current lustings.

They sell sweets, of course I’m a fan!

Nothing featured here costs over £20! My dad has next week off work so fingers crossed I’ll be able to persuade him to drive me to our nearest store (and hope they have at least some of this in stock!)

Have you shopped at Matalan lately?

Where is your current “Got to Shop”?

Float On Friday

Firstly, an apology for the amount of photos of myself in this post, I just love this dress (and shoes) far more than I should.
What makes it even better?! The dress was £9.99 in the Zara sale. A bargain for floaty, girly goodness! I forsee me living in this!

And a much deserved better photo of THE shoes! For those who asked, they are surprisingly easy to walk in (and comfortable, too) thanks to the platform.

Happy Friday loves,
I’m off to float around the office!

Don’t forget my giveaway ends on Sunday!
