Look who’s home! After making a stunning overnight recovery, winning a “pooper of the day” award and eating for England, Flash is now home with us. It seems like wonder cat has once again bounced back and now we have the challenge of getting him to take his medications.
Yesterday was a standard work outfit; I hate wearing the same outfit within the same week/two weeks but knowing I’d be there all day without a proper lunch break meant I went for an old faithful.
I don’t normally post a FOTD but argh, I am loving my new Clinique foundation (superbalanced makeup) worn with my favourite Topshop blusher. I thought my lipstick was brighter than it seems here, in fact I know it was! My new staple lip colour is MAC sheen supreme in Behave Yourself…the texture of these is amazing!
I’ve noticed I’m nearing 1000 followers on gfc (holy shit…not big for some, but incredible for me) so I’m planning a pretty huge (again, for me, but maybe not compared to others) giveaway to celebrate. Watch this space!

What a cutey…the hard part, in my experience, is getting them to take their medication. No matter how well I disguise a tablet in my cat’s food it’s always the last thing left in the bowl! Hope you have better luck x

So glad Flash is well now. Good Luck with the meds for the last 2 months we have had to give Mindy meds and instead of it getting easier its getting harder. Cats can be so stubborn.
aww I hope flash gets better soon. Whenever we have to give Smudge (my cat) tablets he scratches like mad!!!
However, loving the FOTD! I’ve heard some good things about Topshop blusher! 🙂

Hurrah for Flash but oh dear, feeding a cat medication- the most awful activity known to feline owners! Get cat in headlock, force jaws open whilst avoiding being clawed, bitten, hated for life, insert tablet, trap cat under one arm whilst retrieving soggy tablet that has been projected across the room, wince at scratch marks and barricade the catflap with one’s leg, retrieve heavily growling cat, shove tablet into surprisingly strong jaws and clamp shut, massage throat for 3 minutes, open cat’s mouth to check for tablet status- satisfied as to its disappearance, put cat down, curse as hurt-looking cat flounces across the floor then waits for your back to be turned before spitting out a mangled tablet. Repeat process x 6 AHRGH!!!!!!!

I remember when my old cat got bitten by they think a rat or something and we have to get his paw and stick it into this water with antiseptic in daily. Oh lordy he hated that!
