Potential Party Dresses: Apricot x Now Magazine

Gothic Lace Skater Dress, £36

Art Deco Shift Dress, £32

Navy Glitzy Shoulder Belted Dress, £34

Apricot has been on my shopping radar for a while now, I first became aware of it through their concessions in Debenhams and New Look and then later, when they opened stores in both Bristol and Bath. Affordable and good for a browse I own a couple of pieces and have been pleased with the quality and price.

They have now teamed up with Now Magazine to launch a collection in time for party season. With Eight stunning dresses priced between £32 and £44 they’ve done good. It’s not a collaboration I could have predicted, nor expected to enjoy, but I do and I’ve selected my top picks at the top of this post. My number one favourite has to be the gothic lace skater dress which comes in a very on trend berry purple, it’s the kind of dress that is perfect for a party but could also be made more casual for day time too. I do love a hard worker.

What do you think of the collaboration? Will you be keeping a closer eye on Apricot from now on?

Apricot has been turning my head a lot more recently… but I have to say I don’t think this collection is a showcase of their best work – In my opinion some of the other dresses on their website are far more eye-catching and innovative…

  6. Yeah I like Apricot dresses too I have been in the store in Bristol but my god the girls that work in there are so moody and never ever crack a smile. I hate the atmosphere in there! x
