Good morning and Happy Monday! Another week, and for once it is starting with some beautiful, if a little chilly weather. Hasn’t it been gorgeous in the UK for the last few days…hope at last of Spring being on its way.

I was stunned by the amount of comments I got on my non-outfit posts, I’m guessing they were a welcome break? I’ll definatley be doing more of them so if there is anything you would like to see on the blog, do let me know either through comment or e-mail.

Today it is back to outfit posting. I’m wearing the vintage dress I won from Platform Princess’ giveaway, although being so tall, it isn’t quite long enough to be a dress on me.

Tomorrow’s post is an exciting one for me, featuring a review of something I was so excited to be sent. If you can work out what is is from this picture (that I primarily took to show my shoes) then you’ve earnt yourself a gold star.

05.03 new things

Happy Friday! We’ve made it through to another weekend! Who has exciting plans? I’m off work tomorrow so will be indulging in a little retail therapy with my Mum; fingers crossed the sunshiney but cold weather will hold. I so cannot wait for the temperature to start rising.

This will be one of my last non outfit posts, though I’ll probably try and do more of this type of thing rather than keep posting photos of myself.
I thought I’d show you some recent buys and favourite things.

Dresses! As you can see, I’m still loving florals. Both floral dresses are from New Look and both cost £12. The grey based one is my purchase I mentioned the other day. I can’t wait to wear them.
The cream dress in the middle is vintage and absoultley gorgeous, it is also really versatile as it can be worn in many ways. This came from a giveaway hosted by the wonderful platform princess who is a real sweetheart, so do go and check out her blog.

I’m really starting to get more in to accessories lately. I’m a bit hopeless at remembering to put jewellery and such on when I get ready but I am making a concious effort to change that. Most of these treasures came via a group of lovely ladies, who should know who they are 😉

And these are my current favourite nail polishes. Buying them has become a bit of an addiction of mine, although I am trying to be good and not spend any more on them for a while.

03.03 little wishes

Hello, how’s your week going? UK lovelies…how amazing has the weather been the last couple of days? Finally a reprive from winter dullness!

Today I am sharing with you a few of the items off my current wish list. I’ve found myself veering away from clothes somewhat, having seriously run out of space and money
(we won’t talk about the bargain dress I bought yesterday in New Look’s amazing sale)
and moved towards the other essentials in life!

The one clothing items I AM desperate for is the perfect jersey maxi dress, and this one from Oasis at ASOS, £35 truly fits the bill. Perfect for layering now with tees and cardigans, and wearing bare armed with sandals all summer.

Also from ASOS are these two amazing pairs of tights, priced at £8 each they cost mroe than I normally spend on tights (mine typically come from Primark or majorly reduced in other places and rarely cost more than £2 a pair) but I WILL get these some way and some how!

Rounding off the ASOS lust is OPI nail polish in Absolutley Alice, £9.95. I own Mad as a Hatter from this collection and this is also calling my name.

Continuing on my Alice theme are these adorable earrings from loveheartsandcrosses a site I only came across the other day. Check it out…instant love. This pair costs £6.

And finally, what would a wish list be without a pair of shoes, and something from New Look? Well these cover both…one word…WANT. £35.

So the majority vote yesterday was that you guys wanted to see my tights collection. Because I am nice, I have obliged and took photos of most of what I own (a few pairs are currently in the wash)
The photos aren’t the best, but you do get the idea!

These are my detailed black tights and include sheer with floral sides, and heart polka dot style ones although these details dont show up in the photos.

The block colours…I think this is the pile where some are missing!

The patterned lot…as you can see, this collection badly needs adding to!

The boring plain ones for work and dull days!

As you can see, I am neither neat, nor organised and my collection lives happily tangled in a drawer. For this reason I will NOT be showing you the inside of my clothes storage, because it truly is shameful!

I also had a request or two for a look at the content of my bag, so I’ve done that for you as well!

My current bag is this Max C one from Asos.

Wallet, coin purse, envelope “voucher holding” purse, phone (nokia x6, which will get a post of its own soon)

Diary, notebook, keys, zip case, pen, tissues and matchbox friend (a good luck charm from a darling friend)

Zip case innards.

The rest of my junk including the best snack bars ever (well, no lara bars are but the UK stopped selling them), tea, mints, gum, cigs, various meds and sweetners.

Organised 😉
